Shanghai, March 12 (Gasgoo.com) FAW Mazda are set to launch three 2.5L versions of the second-generation Mazda6 on April 12, xinhuane.com said today. They may each be priced over 200,000 yuan ($29,300).

Revamped from the previous mazda6 that will continue its production, the new Mazda6 has many upgrades in its exterior design, craftsmanship, performance, and even its name. In early September 2008, Mazda announced the new Mazda6's Chinese name Ruiyi ("Wise Wing") for the Chinese market.

Offering plenty of Mazda's trade-mark "Zoom Zoom" concept, Ruiyi inherits the first generation Mazda 6's sporty performance and high-tech features and also combines convenience, safety, with eco-friendliness together.

While the older Mazda6 will cater to consumers who like a good-sized car at a reasonable price, the new Ruiyi will appeal to those who require a luxury sedan. The new model targets the high-end car market as it's positioned significantly higher than the first-generation Mazda6.

With the new Mazda6 Ruiyi coming to the market next month, the 4S stores of FAW Mazda are prepared for the ordering for this new luxury model. Sales staff said the three 2.5L Ruiyi editions will have five colors for choice, each car priced above 200,000 yuan.
