BYD releases image of its new MPV

Shanghai, March 26 (Gasgoo.com) BYD Auto has released an official photo of its first-ever MPV model before its scheduled launch at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show in April, according to Beijing Times.

The MPV, called M6, measures 4,808 in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,756 in height. It will be powered by a Mitsubishi 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or a BYD's own developed 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Both engines meet the Euro IV emission standard.

BYD plans to launch four more vehicle models in 2009, including F5, F4 mid-sized sedan models, S6 SUV, and the F8 hardtop convertible in an effort to achieve its sales target of 350,000 units this year.
