Shanghai, April 1 (Gasgoo.com) Mondial Assistance China, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mondial Assistance Group, has secured a partnership with Chang'an Ford for delivery of roadside assistance service solutions in China.

Chang'an Ford, Ford Motor's joint venture in China, was the first auto manufacturer to launch a roadside assistance program in the local market, which can be traced back to 2005. Chang'an Ford plans to carry out its road assistance program in partnership with Mondial Assistance China for "better service and significant potential to improve".

"We feel honored to be awarded the contract of Chang'an Ford--an aftermarket service leader in the Chinese auto market. This once again proves the trust our clients place in us." said Christophe Aniel, CEO of Mondial Assistance China.

"The recent supportive policies by the Chinese government will benefit the local-brand automakers, and thus an opportunity to Mondial."

Mondial Assistance Group, the international leader in travel insurance and roadside assistance services, has its operation in over 28 countries. Being the first global assistance company in China, Mondial Assistance entered the Chinese market in 2003 and established a wholly foreign owned enterprise (WOFE) in 2004.

Based in Beijing, Mondial Assistance China has set up a nationwide network of roadside assistance facilities, with clients in the Chinese market, ranging from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, FAW-VW, to BOC Insurance and The Bank of East Asia.
