Shanghai, April 15 (Gasgoo.com) Mazda Motor Corp said Wednesday its vehicle sales in China rose 22 percent in the first quarter of this year to 37,217 units, reported Dow Jones.

The company attributed the sales growth in the first quarter to Chinese government's supportive industry policies including tax cut on small cars and reduction on road taxes.

Mazda sales in China rose 25 percent year on year to 127,849 units last year, helped by network restructuring and product lineup expansion.
