Race car designer comes to Tsinghua University

Peter Stevens, a well-known race car designer, joined students at Tsinghua University on April 16 for "Smart Talk", organized by the British Council which aims to introduce more talents from the UK to Chinese audiences.

In the afternoon, he visited the Academy of Fine Arts studio of vehicle design and looked in on the work of students.

Later he made a speech about his design work and exchanged views with the elite group. He talked about his dream to design a more affordable car for the middle class.

As a well-known British automobile designer, Peter has designed numerous supercars, including McLaren, Lamborghini, Jaguar, BMW, Lotus and other world famous brands.
