An amphibious bus nicknamed "Adventure Duck" starts its first sea voyage at Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center in Qingdao, east China's Shandong province on May 5, 2009.

The "Adventure Duck" was imported from Australia, where it’s a major entertainment item for tourists traveling the Gold Coasts' roads.

As the first such bus in China, the "duck" cost 6 million yuan and has a top speed of 18 kilometers per hour at sea and 120 kilometers per hour on land. It will go into service in June and will be used for tourism only.
