Mazda China May sales up 19% to 13,916 units

Shanghai, June 10 (Gasgoo.com) Mazda Motor Corp reported Wednesday that its vehicle sales in China rose 19% year on year in May to 13,916 units, according to a press release from Mazda Motor (China) Co.

Sales at FAW Mazda Motor Sales Co rose 18.5 percent in May to 8,269 units, while sales of Mazda brands cars at Changan Ford Mazda Automobile rose 19.7 percent to 5,647 units.

In the first five months Mazda sales in China rose 23.3 percent year on year to 64,498 units. The company attributed the sales growth so far this year to network restructuring and product lineup expansion.
