Italy July car sales seen up 6.2% to 210,000 units
Italy's new car sales are likely to be up at least 6.2 percent in July to 205,000-210,000 units, an industry source said on Tuesday.
The source, who declined to be named, said the figure compared with a revised level of sales for July 2008 of around 193,000 units. The Transport Ministry's figure for July 2008 was 190,889 vehicles. Car sales in June were up 12.38 percent to 209,315 units.
The source said orders in July were likely to be a little above year-ago levels, when they were 156,000 units.
