Shanghai, September 27 (Gasgoo.com) Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile (DPCA) said on Saturday the company would begin production at its second plant on November 17th, and plans to launch ten new models over the next five years.

Tang Teng, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën, said at a dealership meeting yesterday that the second plant, with an annual output of 150,000 units, would build Peugeot 408 and Citroen C5 models to go on sale in Chinese market from next year.

The JV is also mulling on introducing the hybrid versions of C-Elysee, Peugeot 307 and C-Quatre in China in 2010.

DPCA, a JV established in 1992 between PSA Peugeot Citroen and Dongfeng Motor Corp, now has an annual capacity of 300,000 vehicles. The venture started building its second plant in October 2006.

At the event yesterday Tang also said DPCA would add 60 dealers every year in future.
