Daimler to expand compact car plant in Rastatt

Daimler AG will spend 600 million euros ($895.9 million) to expand its compact car plant in Rastatt, Germany, the company said on Thursday.

The investment is part of the 3 billion euros it will spend in all on its German manufacturing plants this year and next.
