Shanghai, May 5 (Gasgoo.com) Zheng Shunjing, director of Bentley's Chinese operations recently said that China surpassed Japan and Germany to become Bentley's third-largest market in the world in 2009.

Zheng said Bentley China has a longer-term plan for the future that is to make a breakthrough of 1000 vehicles in annual China sales by 2014.

In order to accomplish this great goal, Bentley will import many new products to China, such as its latest flagship model Mulsanne showcased at the recent Beijing auto show, the two special models previously designed for the Chinese market, the Continental GT Ultimate series, the Continental Flying Spur Speed China special edition and Bentley's fastest environment-friendly Continental Supersports Convertible model.

In addition to the new products, Bentley China also plans to expand its current nine dealerships to twenty-four in five years. The new dealerships for this year will be in Kunming, Tianjin, Xiamen and Shenyang city.

Next year, 80% of the Bentley cars will be using biofuels and by 2012 all Bentley cars will be using more environmentally-friendly, low-carbon and energy-efficient biofuels.
