Brilliance expects sales revenue to top 60 bln yuan

Shanghai, May 6 (Gasgoo.com) This year, Brilliance will strive to achieve the goal of over 60 billion yuan ($8.8 billion) in sales revenue, Chairman of Brilliance, Qi Yumin said recently.

Qi said the company will double the Brilliance vehicle sales to 1 million units, and increase production and sales to 2 million units by 2015. Moreover, this year, vehicle production and sale is targeted at 500,000 units, engine 500,000 units, vehicle exports 50,000 units, and sales revenue more than 60 billion yuan.

In the previous quarter, Brilliance sold 118,000 vehicles, up 65.4% year on year. In addition, BMW Brilliance Automotive has already started its capacity expansion phase I and factory expansion phase II projects.
