FAW's strong hybrid tech saves 40% on fuel
Shanghai, May 13 (Gasgoo.com) Top executives from FAW Group recently said that it would equip the B- and C-Class vehicle models with its strong hybrid technology. The person-in-charge of the FAW said the strong hybrid technology is more than 40% fuel-efficient and only the Group has achieved this level among all the national automakers. In addition, an international patent application has been submitted in the name of "THEV".
Reportedly, FAW has drawn up plans for its new energy strategy. The first step is to build a technology platform that will incorporate the hybrid, all-electric and the fuel-cell technologies all in one.
