Changan Auto to launch CX30 hatchback on May 28

Shanghai, May 21 (Gasgoo.com) Changan Auto is expected to officially launch its all-new hatchback CX30 on May 28 and the car is likely to be priced at the 79,000 yuan to 115,000 yuan ($10,000 - $16,000), recent sources said.


The CX30 car carries a 1.6L engine (71kw or 96hp, 140Nm of torque) and a 2.0L engine (112kw or 152hp and 192Nm of torque), and transmissions will come in the form of 5-speed manuals and 4-speed autos.

In addition, the CX30 car is equipped with Bosch's Start/Stop system (STT), which offers 10-15% fuel savings and will be applied to all Changan vehicle models, as a standard configuration.

The CX30 car measures (LxWxH) 4600mm x 1800mm x 1475mm and has a wheelbase of 2650mm, which are the same sizes as sedans.

Moreover, the whole CX30 family will be equipped with the LED rear combined lamps, electrically adjustable outside mirrors with the turn signal, rear window defroster, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), intelligent vehicle systems, etc.
