From Reuters| May 27 , 2010 15:39 BJT

Honda Motor said on Thursday it has no timetable to resume production at its four vehicle manufacturing plants in China after they were shut by a labour dispute at one of its parts plants.

Honda, along with the local government in Fushan, in southern China's Guangdong province, is in discussions with workers over a labour dispute at a parts plant there that led to a walkout last week, its China spokesman Zhu Linjie said.

Japan's Nihon Keizai Shimbun daily reported that Honda had been forced to shut all four of its Chinese auto assembly plants on Wednesday as a result of the dispute.
