FAW-VW to launch New Bora Sport model on June 10

Shanghai, May 31 (Gasgoo.com) FAW-Volkswagen will officially launch its New Bora Sport, powered by the 1.4TSI engine, on June 10 and the car is expected to be sold at no less than 130,000 yuan ($19,000), media reported. 　

FAW-Volkswagen has stopped producing the New Bora 2.0L, because its main model is equipped with the 2-valve 1.6L engine which is a sort of old version of power system at present.

The New Bora Sport features the same power system as the Magotan and the Lavida sports models do that is a 1.4 TSI engine, with a maximum of 96kW power and 22Nm torque, as well as the direct shift gearbox (DSG).

Reportedly, the New Bora Sport will completely replace the 2.0L model with several versions based on the different configurations, and the electronic stability program (ESP) will be applied to the whole family as a standard.
