Tianjin FAW Toyota observes fourth Family Visit Day

Shanghai, June 24 (Gasgoo.com) Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., located in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, held its fourth Family Visit Day on Sunday (June 20). The joyful, friendly, and harmonious atmosphere made the event a great success, PRNewswire-Asia reported.

This Family Visit Day marked the 10th anniversary of Tianjin FAW Toyota's founding. The joint venture was formed by FAW Group, Tianjin Faw Xiali Auto, Toyota Motor in June 2000. It currently makes Vios, Corolla, Crown, Reiz and RAV4 cars, with an annual capacity of 220,000 units.

The event, themed as "Celebrating a Decade of Accomplishment, Looking Forward to the Bright Future Ahead," allowed employees and their families to celebrate the remarkable achievements they have made over the past ten years, to appreciate the company's strength and continued growth, and to anticipate the company's better future.

There were five activity areas for this Family Visit Day: Car Love World (about traffic safety), the Beautiful Factory (to experience the factory's auto assembly), Happy Home (as children's amusement arcade), the Cultural Plaza (to enjoy the company's corporate culture) and the Ecological Engineering Area (to showcase the company's environmental awareness).

At the Beautiful Factory area, employees and their families were able to get hands-on experience at the TEDA factory's third production line for automobile assembly. Over 200,000 Corollas and RAV4s, both in high demand in the market right now, are produced on this production line annually.

Over 10,000 employees and family members participated in the activities of this Family Visit Day, including the advanced in years and children not yet one year old, Chinese and foreign alike, the PRNewswire report said.
