The recall was ordered to correct certain errors in the owner's manual on the C30 model, produced by Volvo between November 9, 2009 and February 5, 2010.

Reportedly, the system error in the owner's manual may result in part of the sunroof operation content missing, causing the driver to be unaware of the operating function of the sunroof as well as some safety precautions.

Volvo said it would offer a free replacement of the manual to the involved owners to eliminate potential risks. Moreover, the company will renew the customer's manual of the unsold 2010 C30 vehicles.
