2011 Mercedes-Benz R-Class coming to China in Oct
Shanghai, August 6 (Gasgoo.com) The 2011 Mercedes-Benz R-Class is about to enter the Chinese market in October this year, and be sold at around 700,000 yuan-1.2million yuan ($136,000-$177,000), similar to the existing R-Class model, media reported recently.

The new Mercedes-Benz R-Class is likely to carry two engines: a 272-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 with 349N·m of torque or the 210-hp 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel with 542N·m of torque.
With its front end being redesigned, the new R-Class now looks more like the German brand's sedans and SUVs. Moreover, the hood, fenders, radiator grille, front fascia, headlamps and bumpers all have a makeover for the new R-Class.
Meanwhile, the new R-Class gets a restyled rear bumper with reflectors, standard LED rear taillights and integrated exhaust pipes. Besides, its face is expected to be enhanced with chrome trim incorporating optional LED daytime running lights in combination with bi-xenon headlamps.
