BYD F3 model leads the auto market

Auto maker BYD(1211.HK)'s total car sales volume has exceeded one million units, including more than 700,000 units of the F3 model, reports China Securities Journal.

The F3 is the first car model to achieve a monthly sales volume of 30,000 units in China, and its highest monthly sales volume hit 36,000 units in 2010.

The sales volume of F3 totaled 168,800 units in the first seven months of 2010, outperforming all other car models in China.

BYD currently has 1,000 first-class service stations throughout China, including more than 600 4S shops (authorized car dealerships in China).
