Yulon Motor to export Luxgen SUV in Q4

From CENS| September 24 , 2010 20:28 BJT

Yulon Motor Co., a Taiwan-based automaker, is going to sing distributorship agreements with foreign agents in five countries, namely Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Vietnam and Dominican Public, in October, effectively pushing up its contracted distributor and agent numbers to enhance global awareness of its Luxgen-branded passenger vehicles.

Chen Kuo-rong, Yulon Group’s vice chairman, has confirmed that his firm will ink distributorship agreements with agents from the five aforementioned countries in early October, and will then start to build distribution networks for its Luxgen7 series SUVs and MPVs in the countries.

Chen also mentioned that fewer trade barriers and faster certifications in the five countries have actually accelerated Luxgen’s penetration into the local markets, which will help drive up Luxgen’s global market share in the future.

In fact, Yulon has been targeting emerging markets in Middle East, China, Russia and Southeast Asia for sales of Luxgen vehicles, and has signed letters of intent with a number of potential candidates in these areas over the past year.

To further explore the Middle East market, Yulon has had Luxgen passenger vehicles passed a series of necessary tests, ready to ship the vehicles to the region starting the end of the third quarter of this year at the earliest.
