BAIC willing to join electric vehicle industry alliance: Chairman

Shanghai September 26 (Gasgoo.com) China FAW, Dongfeng Motor, China Chang'an Automobile and other 13 central enterprises co-founded the electric vehicle industry alliance in Beijing on August 18, large automobile enterprises, such as BAIC and SAIC, however, have not joined yet.

According to latest news from The Beijing Times, Xu Heyi, Chairman of Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., Ltd. now said BAIC is willing to join the alliance.

Although the electric vehicle industry alliance is jointly organized by 16 China's centrally administered enterprises, local State-owned enterprises, private enterprises and even foreign enterprises are also welcomed to make a contribution to the country's new energy vehicle development, SASAC Director Li Rongrong and MIIT Vice-minister Miao Wei pointed out.
