Changan Mazda sales rise 24.2% in October

Shanghai November 12 (Gasgoo.com) Mazda Motor Corp's Chinese joint venture with Chongqing Changan Automobile Co reported sales of 7,917 units in October, up 24.2% from a year earlier, morning.scol.com reported Friday, citing latest data from the company.

Its best-selling model Mazda 3 posted sales of 5,880 units last month, a year-on-year growth of 40.1%.

In the first ten months of this year, the company saw its car sales rise 22.8% from the same period last year to 66,874 units.
