Chrysler Sebring sedans recalled in China for brake fluid leak
Shanghai November 15 (Gasgoo.com) Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler Automotive Corporation, Ltd. will recall 9,622 Chrysler Sebring sedans in China for brake fluid leak, chinanews.com reported Monday, citing a statement posted on the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
The recall, starting December 20, will involve Chrysler Sebring sedans produced between August 13, 2007 and May 27, 2009.
The company said it will repair or replace the defective brake hose at no charge to owners to avoid potential risks.
The repair scheduled towards the end of next month is due to the unavailability of the spare parts, according to the AQSIQ.
