BYD F0 breaks into top 10 passenger-car list by October sales

Shanghai November 26 (Gasgoo.com) BYD's F0 city car recorded sales of 1, 3981 units in October, a great performance making it the only mini car in China ranked among the top 10 passenger-car list by sales volume, sina.com reported Thursday, citing data released by the Joint Advisory Committee of China Passenger Car Market (JACCPCM).

The stylish BYD F0 measures 3.46 meters long and is well received in the domestic market. It features a 1.0L gasoline engine delivering 68hp and a 5-speed transmission, has a top speed of 151 km/h and consumes 4.2 liters running 100 km.

The F0, formerly known as BYD F1, has coached itself into sales champion for two consecutive months this year since entering the market in September 2008, with 13,905 units sold in March and 15,242 units sold in April. BYD has so far opened 1,000 dealerships in China.
