Changan Mazda Ford to recall near 7000 Mondeos

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 12) - Changan Ford Mazda has ordered a recall of 6,599 Mondeo sedans, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine reported today. The recall, done in compliance with the Provisions on the Administration of Recall of Defective Auto Products, will target Mondeos manufactured between February 14 and April 16 of this year.

The vehicles are being targeted due to flaws with the supplementary heating system that may affect with the vehicle's air filtering, which in turn may cause interior cables to deteriorate. Changan Ford Mazda has made the announcement through its dealers throughout the country. The joint venture will provide free inspection and maintenance for affected vehicles.
