Malaysia: Rolls-Royce eyes double-digit sales

Bernama - Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, which opened its new showroom in Petaling Jaya today, aims to see a double-digit sales figure for its car in Malaysia.

During the official launch of the showroom, its Asia Pacific Regional Director Paul Harris said the company would continue to invest in the Malaysian market "buoyed by the country’s economic growth and growing appetite for super-luxury cars."

Deputy Minister of Finance, Senator Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai, who was present at the event said the country with its open economic policy welcomed companies from all over the world to open businesses in the country.

"When the economy grows better, people will make more money, which is in line with our vision 2020 to become a developed and high income country."

To date, Rolls-Royce Motors Cars has 18 showrooms in the Asia-Pacific region and targets to open showrooms in Taiwan and China in the near future.
