Chery's exports exceed 14000 in May

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 9) - Chery managed to export 14,110 vehicles in May, auto.sohu.com reported today. The figure, which is 75.21 percent higher than the amount exported this time last year, sets a new monthly record for the manufacturer.

Chery exported a total of 55,249 vehicles from January to May, which helps the manufacturer go a long way towards fulfilling its target of exporting 120,000 vehicles this year. Exports to Chery's traditional strongholds of Russia and the Ukraine were solid at 7,139 and 4,743 vehicles respectively. Meanwhile growth in its emerging markets of Brazil, Chile and South Africa was enormous, with Brazilian sales alone exceeding 13,600 units.
