Over 65000 Hondas sold in China in March

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai April 9) - Honda China officially released its monthly performance review for March today, Gasgoo.com (Chinese) reported. According to the review, the Dongfeng Honda and Guangqi Honda joint ventures sold a total of 65,416 vehicles in the month, 11.6 percent higher than the total amount sold last March. The two JVs managed to sell a total of 148,082 vehicles in the first three months of the year.

Guangqi Honda sold a total of 32,592 vehicles, growing 9.3 percent from March of last year. The Accord (pictured above) remained Guangqi Honda's best selling model, accumulating 12,981 sales in the month. It was followed by the City subcompact, which managed sales of 10,519 units. Sales of the Fit, Odyssey, Crosstour and Everus own brand S1 totaled 4,598 units, 3,324 units, 155 units and 4,060 units, respectively. Dongfeng Honda, meanwhile, sold a total of 29,779 vehicles, 14.5 percent more than last March. The JV's best selling model was the CR-V SUV (pictured below), with a total of 21,124 units sold in the month. 7,641 Civics and 1,014 Spiriors were sold.
