Hyundai developing new sedan specifically for China

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai August 6) - Korean manufacturer Hyundai is currently designing a model priced under the Sonata aimed specifically at the Chinese market, xcar.com.cn reported today. The car is scheduled to make its market debut sometime in the first half of 2014.

The new car will be slightly smaller than the Sonata. According to Hyundai Global Spokesman Frank Ahrens, it will be placed between the Elantra and Sonata. Although specific details have yet to be announced, prices are estimated to be between 130,000 yuan and 170,000 yuan ($20,601-$26,940).
