Testing work for first Qoros own brand vehicle over half complete

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai October 8) - Testing for the first model from Chery's Qoros own brand is over half completed, Beijing News reported today. Progress is reportedly far ahead of schedule, with the model slated to make its debut at next March's Geneva Motor Show.

The testing work was carried out in the country city of Yixing, located in Wuxi, Jiangsu. In the two years time, Qoros has carried out two winter tests, one summer test and several other smaller road tests.

Qoros, which was officially established in 2007 as Chery Quantum, is a joint venture company equally owned by Chery Automobile and Israel Corporation. Sales of the JV's first model are scheduled to begin next year.
