GM Sales Reaches Record High, Increases 13.7%

Today, GM has published its last sales record in Chinese. According to the report, sales of GM and its joint ventures have increased 13.7% over the performance of last year to 277,647, which has hit a record high compared with every single Sept sales since it entered China.

Sales of Shanghai GM and SAIC GM Wuling, Joint ventures of GM, have hit record high levels both. Domestic sales of Shanghai GM has increased 10.6% to 132,783; same sales of SAIC Wuling has increased 16.9% to 139.676. FAW GM sales has certain degree improvement as well, which increases 3.3% to 4,733.

From the performance of GM brands in China, Buick sales has increased 14.3% to 71,002 in China in Sept. Excelle, the most famous type of Buick has reached 26,875, which has increased 15.9%. Buick Excelle GT and XT sales have increased 28.3% to 19.645. LaCrosse sales has increased 12.5% to 9,797.

Chevrolet sales has increased slightly to 57,285, which has increased 2%. Contributed by new Cruze hatchback launched market, Cruze sales has increased 34.9% to 24,744 as a star module. Sail has sold 16,533 following and Mai Rui Bao sales has reached 8,814.

Cadillac sales has increased 73.9% dramatically to 4,496. Cadillac SRX and XTS sales have reached 2,636 and 1,849 respectively.

What’s more, Wuling has increased 18.4% to 129,648. The most famous modules-- Wuling Hongguang and Wuling Hongguang S have increased 80.8% to 51,210. Bao Jun has increased 9.6% to 10,028 in Sept.

In the first 9 months in China, GM Auto and its joint ventures sales has increased 11.2% to 2,312,418, which has hit record high. Shanghai GM sales has increased 14.9% to 1,111,129. And SAIC Wuling domestic sales has increased 8.1% to 1,156,778. FAW GM domestic sales has declined slightly 0.5% to 41,063. Besides, Buick sales has increased 17.6% to 606,330. And Chevrolet sales has increased 3.7% to 472,561. Cadillac sales has increased 51.2% dramatically to 32,238. Wuling sales has increased 9.8% to 1087.591. And Bao Jun has sold 69,187 which has increased 69.187.
