“We have not made any progress compared with first 9 months of last year sales. Bu the fourth quarter we will promote our sales at the average level of auto industry.” Song YANG, Dongfeng Nissan vice sales president disclosed recently, Dongfeng Nissan has sold 92,699 in Sept. Nissan has been sold 84,043, and Venucia 8656, which has increased dramatically 107.89%. Based on the achievement, Dongfeng Nissan will introduce 2 new cars into market in the fourth quarter: Teana.Duke and Venucia Crossover. It will sprint for 90 thousand sales goals.
According to statistics, Dongfeng Nissan has sold 92,699 in Sept which is the best single month sales record since Dongfeng Nissan found for 10 years. Nissan flagship product New Generation Teana performs stable for the first half year of 2013. It sales has achieve 10,780 facing competition from New Accord and New Mondeo. New Sylphy, new TIIDA, new Livina and Sun are the mainstream for Dongfeng Nissan to take middle class segment. Sylphy series has sold 27,092 in Sept which has hit record high and ranked top 10. The classic New Tiida has sold 15,555, which has remained its hatchback legend. Sun has been sold 9,795. New Livina has sold 9,965. Besides, Qashqai has sold 12,668, which has hit the record high of 2012.
Besides, Venucia sales hit record high to 8,656 as well. In the first nine months of this year, Venucia has sold 67,919 in the first 9 months of this year with only 2 type cars. Month average sales exceed 7,500. Generally speaking, Dongfeng Nissan has exceeded Toyota and Honda with 36.39% market share. The company remains its top one position among Japanese brands and exceeds Beijing Hyundai, which comes back to top 4 of auto industry.
“In fact, we do not take over year growth very serious, particularly single month such as Sept. the growth does not mean too much. We prefer absolute amount. Sept sales hit the record high since we found. Our sales will exceed industry average for the last three months. In the fourth quarter, Dongfeng Nissan growth will close to 20%. We will take annual growth in the last three months.” Song YANG said Dongfeng Nissan accesses itself by two figures: passenger vehicle PV market share and three Japanese brands (Nissan, Toyota and Honda) J3 market share. PV market share climbs more than 6%, which close to the level before Diaoyu Island Event.
Song YANG said that Dongfeng Nissan has two goals this year “Venucia sales more than 100 thousand” and “Dongfeng Nissan sales 900 thousand”.
