Shen Long Sales Hit Record High in First 10 Months

According to Shen Long Auto statistics, the company has sold more than 440 thousand cars up to 29 Oct, which is slight more over the performance of last year. It is expected 550 thousand annual sales this year. The goal has increased 50 thousand than early this year.

According to statistics, Shen Long Auto has sold cars 399,961 from Jan to Sept, which has increased 27.89%. Dongfeng Citroen has sold 198,688 totally, and Dongfeng Peugeot has sold 201,273 totally. They increase 25.45% and 30.4% respectively, which both of them higher than 17% industry average growth.

Marketing organization reformation of last year is one of the most important reasons which contribute to Shen Long development. I strengths the difference between two brands, and strengths the backyard efficiency and creative ability as well. Both Dongfeng Citroen and Dongfeng Peugeot of Shen Long have published their midterm business development plan—“Dragon C plan” “Blue Plan”, which organize their brands position and development in the future. Up to the end of Sept of this year, Dongfeng Citroen builds another 36 4S shops, and Dongfeng Peugeot builds another 54 4S shops as well. At present, Shen Long 2 brands own 795 4S shops. The figure is expected to mount to 866 at the end of this year. It will be an important advantage for Shen Long Auto facing competition in the future.

New products market performance is successful, and brings sales increase for Shen Long. The company has launched Dongfeng Citroen C4L, new C5, new Sega, Dongfeng Peugeot 3008, new 308 etc., include first SUV Dongfeng Peugeot 3008 and total new middle class Dongfeng Citroen C4L which both have good market performance. 3008 has sold 36,590 in the first 9 months, sales contribution rate is more than 9%. In the middle class segment, with the introducing of Dongfeng Citroen 爱丽舍 and Dongfeng Peugeot 301 in Nov, Shen Long will form its “Middle Class 6 Stars”, and strength is competition.

Shen Long Auto has launched its “Three Years Sales Double Plan” this year for achieve its “75 thousand production capacity in 2015” made in 5A plan. The double plan expects double sales in 2015 based on 440 thousand sales in 2014.
