Mazda 3 New Cars Will Been Made in China Next Year

After experienced totally different market performance in the first and next half this year, Mazda is expected to have the same sales with last year did. The volume is about 185 thousands. Particularly in August, Mazda introduces its first China made CX-5, which is geared with its “SKYACTIV” technology.

Mazda Sept and Oct sales have increased 34.4% and 88.2% respectively. The company recovers real fast.

Mazda success at next half year shall contribute to its CX-5 hot sales.It also means that “SKYACTIV” and “Soul of Motion” design are accepted by customers. As it known, CX-5 has been sold more than 15 thousand since it launched market for 2 months. Jinwen ZHU, vice executive president of Changan Mazda sales company, said that “production line will shift to two shifts by three times production capacity modification. Changan Mazda will do its best to push CX-5 to segment top 6.”

Besides promote CX-5 market performance, Mazda will introduce “SKYCTIV” into Chinese market next year. Watabe Nobuhiko, CEO of Mazda (China) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. said already that “Atenza and new Mazda 3 which geared with “SKYACTIV” will be China made by FAW and Changan Mazda. Besides, CX-7 is considered about China made as well. It will introduce new model that all-wheel-drive models with a turbo engine.” New Mazda 3 will improve its original ergonomics and will be geared with HMI human-computer interaction system.

With cars introduction strategy is getting clear. Mazda try to balance profit realization by profit relatively high modules: upper medium cars and rapid growth SUV. Watabe Nobuhikosaid frankly that “our strategy focus on A class cars launching, such as Changan Mazda A class, AO class include sedan and hatchback, SUV. Meanwhile, FAW prefers B class cars, include SUV and MPV. They build differentyouth and mature segment.”
