The Partner of Tesla Remains to be a Puzzle

The new of Maske planning to build a factory in China in 2015 motivate different guesses in capital market about the partner of Tesla in China. Several insiders said the only way which must be passed to realize localization in China for Tesla is to cooperate with Chinese industry chain enterprises.

There are 2 choices for the selection of the Partner, one is the manufacturer owning market resource or power resource and other one is industry chain company and component supplier. The result is estimated to be announced in the end of 2014.

Mr. Mo, famous analyst in auto industry, told report Tesla is likely to choose the cooperation with car manufacturer in China. He said the partner which Tesla chooses may be the manufacturer owning market & power source because Tesla side won't rely on Chinese partner on product design and regard on market share and speaking right on policy. Mr. Mo also said both state-owned and private enterprise will stand a chance such as Wanxiang Group Corp.

But in accordance with the feedback from Wanxiang Qianchao, the component branch, there is no cooperation trend between both companies.

The charging point is main product used by Tesla to come into Chinese market. Tesla plans to build a network for electric cars to charge freely. There are many component companies in China owning related technology but they all said the cooperation is unknown. Mr. Mo also said the electric theme will run through the whole year.
