FAW Mazda Self – Atonement, Bet on ATENZA

After 5 years head low, FAW- Mazda has welcomes its self-atonement in its “Benming Year”, which means the 12th year since it enters China.

Mazda announces the mode  ATENZA will first show at Beijing Auto Exhibition this year. Although ATENZA comes late, but it is a powerful fight back for FAW- Mazda going down noisy.

Kobayashi Keiko, vice director of marketing department of FAW- Mazda says during interview that “ATENZA will officiallylaunch market this May. We make sales goal of 5k per month tentatively.”

ATENZA is so called FAW- Mazda self-atonement work. But whether or not the bet will work out?

“I come.”A simple but cool slogan has announced that China made Mazda 6 comes.

FAW- Mazda has relied on Mazda 6 for 10 years. Until year 2010, its annual sales have hit the record high around 240 thousands and turn to decline. Mazda has entered China for 12 years up to year 2014. The company chooses not to stay silence but choose to cut into market from B-class segment it good at.

“ATENZA is raw power of FAW- Mazda future strategy. We want to build it as star of new generation sport car.” SONG Xiaojuan, director of FAW- Mazda brand reputation broadcast department says.

As insider says that ATENZA will not replace original Mazda 6. It will be sold with Raptor and Mazda 6. All the three modes will cover high, middle and low end segment to rich layout of Mazda product line. FAW- Mazda has announced to reduce guide price of Raptor and Mazda 6. Mazda 6 has cut 41 thousand with price among 130 thousand sections. ATENZA’s price has not announced yet, but according to dealers 2.0L and 2.5L will be sold among 180 thousand to 250 thousands. ZHAO Yu, analyst of Huarong Security says the price change of Mazda is preparing for new car market launching. Mazda 6 has already stepped into A-class segment. And new ATENZA stands for FAW- Mazda up forwards goal.
