BAIC BJEV establishes industry alliance to test share mode

BAIC BJEV signed contracts with Pang Da group, CITIC GUOAN, Beijing Parking and Ucar to establish lease alliance, electric logistic lease and charging point’s alliance, which was regarded as the establishment of alternative energy vehicle ecosphere.

As the import popularized city for new energy vehicles, Beijing owns better policies and systems. The promotion target for electric vehicles in Beijing in 2015 is 14,000, which was the most in China. But the problems such as charging points still restrict the development of new energy vehicles.

Among 3 alliances of BAIC BJEV, lease alliance and charging point alliance are positive for customers directly so different trip demands could be satisfied and journey continuation problem could be solved on a certain extent. As the construction of charging points requires the input of social forces, BAIC BJEV unites Gemdale, LanJingLiJia and Beijing Parking to build charging stations by share mode. As the introduction by BAIC BJEV, there are 160,000 logistical vehicles in Beijing, including mini trucks and buses. If these fuel vehicles could be updated to electric ones, the discharge of carbon would be much less. The establishment of electric logistic alliance aims to promote electric commercial vehicles.
