Audi set staff-only discounts, ¥20k lower than the market

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai July 13) - For the first time in Audi’s history, the company set staff-only especially high discounts from 16% off to 24% off to encourage sales to inside amid the sales slump in the Chinese luxury car market.

Among all the models on discount, Audi A6L 2.8L and A6L 3.0T stands themselves out with 24%-off discount for employees of the company. And the staff can enjoy the least discounts for 16% off in purchasing Audi Q3 1.4T and Q5 compact SUVs.

In particular, the market-regulated price for A6L 2.8L is 499,800 CNY. The staff can enjoy 379,500 CNY while common Chinese buyers can only enjoy 399,800 CNY preferential prices on the condition that they purchase additional car decorations costing them another 100,000 CNY. Therefore, the staff-only discount is more than 200,000 CNY lower than the common discount.

As a famous luxury car brand with longest localization history in China, Audi has put A3、A4、A6 sedans and Q3、Q5 SUVs into domestic production in China, which account for 86% of the automakers sales volume in China, with 495,000 sales units in 2014.

The staff-only discount will maintain effective from recently to the end of the year. If the market-regulated price changes in next year, the discount will alter accordingly.
