Audi’s Chinese chief Dietmar Voggenreiter to be the new Board of Management Member for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai Oct 12)--Dietmar Voggenreiter, who has managed Audi’s China Business for nine years, is to take over the position of Board of Management Member for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG as of November 1, according to National Business Daily.
Comments said, Dr. Dietmar Voggenreiter is promoted to be a global board member because of his contribution in the increased Audi sales in China. Under his leadership, sales in Chinese market increased by six-hundred percent to the number of 579,000 cars delivered in 2014.
According to the sources, Dr. Voggenreiter will succeed in this position to Luca de Meo, who will move to SEAT as the new CEO. Before this,Joachim Wedler, who was leader of Audi’s product lines, has succeeded Voggenreiter’s position in China as General Manager of Audi Chinaas of September 1, while Voggenreiterstill holds his position as Executive Vice President during the interim period.
