Chery enters into government purchasing list

China Certification Committee for Environmental Labeling Products (CCCEL) announced in Beijing yesterday that a total of ten self-brand automakers, including Chery, Zhonghua, etc, have been entitled to the certificates by CCCEL, and these brand models became the second batch to get listed in the government environmental purchasing category. This is the first time for self-brand automakers to win this award.

The ten enterprises are SVW, SGM, Guangzhou Honda, SGM Dongyue, SGM Beisheng, Chery, Guangzhou Toyota, Chang'an Ford Mazda, Brilliance Jinbei and Tianjin FAW Toyota. 444 enterprises are listed this time compared with the original 81, which can meet the purchasing demand of the government; Self-brand Chery, Zhonghua as well as internationally known brands Passat and Buick all get listed.
