The latest sale statistics unveiled passenger vehicles sales declined by 24.41% compared with that of the previous month to 417,700 units; sales of domestic mini-sedans in February dropped by 32.68% to 39,425 units compared with the month before, of which Xiali sales volume decreases from the 15,061 in January to 9,313 in the second month, down 38%, and Chery QQ decreased from 13,713 to 6,878, down as high as 50%.

One important reason for the slow-moving is that this market has been occupied by Aotuo, Xiali, Geely, Chery QQ and Hafei Lubao for a too long time and only one Chang'an Benben were newly launched in last year's mini range auto market in China.
