Chang'an Auto sales grew 173.18%

Chang'an Automobile total sales income surged to 25.68 billion Yuan in 2006, with main business profits of 4.299 billion, increased 33.95% and 40.92% year on year respectively; a net profit of 650 million Yuan, increased 173.18%, earnings per share reached 0.40 Yuan.

Annual report disclosed the total vehicle production and sales increase of 9.96% and 16.61% respectively. The joint venture Chang'an Ford Mazda has made the great contribution to the blooming achievement.

Analysis of the financial report showed that contribution of Chang'an Ford Mazda to the main business income, the main business profit and net profit reached 8.51 billion, 2.55 billion and 1.08 billion Yuan. Calculated by its shareholding 50%, it is estimated that the JV's revenue and profits accounted for 65%, 95% and 131%.

According to Chang'an Auto plan, the company will strive to achieve sales over 650,000 vehicles in 2007, sales income aims at more than 30 billion Yuan.
