Fiat made first Asia debut of its three models
Three new Fiat brand models, including Linea, Bravo and Grande Punto Abarth, are displayed at the Shanghai Motor Show. According to Fred Duan, commercial director of Nanjing-Fiat, these three models represent the latest technologies as well as develop ideals of Fiat and will be introduced into China at the earliest time possible.
The Linea model unveiled at Istanbul auto show last year has made its first debut in Asia at the Shanghai auto show. The model will go on sale globally at the beginning of May. Grande Punto Abarth S2000 showcased at the exhibition gives full play to Grande Punto's brand definition of an athletic and fashionable design style.
Another innovation is the new logo bearing a close resemblance to the one in use during 1931 and 1968.
Four prolonged characters of Fiat are mounted in the ruby background. The thinking behind it, according to Fiat Brand President Luca De Meo, is to emphasize the company's rebuilding program and the large number of new products which have been created recently.
