Raising the domestication Huacheng BMW targets 41,000
Huacheng BMW will vigorously develop the sales network this year, by optimizing three production lines and three shifts systems, Huacheng BMW could increase its production capacity to 41,000 in 2007, Eberhard Schrempf, the CEO of Huacheng BMW said in Shanghai recently.

Eberhard Schrempf added that Huacheng BMW 3 series, 5 Series were sold 22,000 in total in 2006, taking a 20% of the luxury car market share. Because Audi has the absolute advantage in the north market, BMW sales have a better performance in the south market than in north. He said that the competition of luxury car market in China will be fiercer in 2007; in addition, Mercedes, Audi and Lexus have become rapidly growing rivals and can not be underestimated.
