Camry sales expects 10% growth rate in 2007

During the Shanghai Auto Show, Guangzhou Toyota's general manager said this year Camry's sales growth rate will exceed 10%, and the Company will not cut the price to follow other model's price plunging campaign.

By March 2007, Camry sales had reached 15,540 units, it is fourth consecutive month for Camry to win the sub-market championship, and its total output surged to 100,000 units.

Guangzhou Toyota's general manager stressed that the Company has made a three-year price cutting plan, in order to make its price advantage over other same segment models.

For Camry, to maintain its strong growth and its sales title, the general manager explained that automobiles and other products are following the same natural laws; their energy is an oscillatory curve, just at the beginning it is in a relatively high position, as time passes, it will slowly drop.
