GM DAEWOO'S AUTO SALES REV UP 30.8 PCT IN APRIL

SEOUL, May 2 Asia Pulse - GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co., South Korea's third-largest automaker, said Wednesday its sales rose 30.8 per cent last month from a year ago as it sold more cars overseas.

GM Daewoo sold 87,275 units in April, the company said in a statement.

Domestic sales rose 25.2 per cent to 12,038 units and exports gained 31.7 per cent to 75,237 units.

GM Daewoo is run by US auto giant General Motors Corp.
