DYK 2nd plant to start operation by Oct

Dongfeng Yueda Kia Motors has unveiled 11 models at the Shanghai auto show, of which the Kue Crossover and all-new Cerato hatchback, which made its global debut during the show, as well as the newly launched RIO Qianlima, attracted a lot of attention. RIO Qianlima is reported to be built at DYK's second plant.

Kue Crossover, unveiled for the first time at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, features excellent mastery of an SUV and performance of a sedan. 

The engine plant of DYK's second plant has begun operation recently, while its first phase project is due to start this October with a planned production capacity of 150,000 units each year, and the overall production will reach 280,000 by then. Moreover, several new models will be introduced consecutively to China later this year.
