China, the fast growing auto market fails to access Peugeot's full-scale product-line, but with the introduction of the first Peugeot SUV---Peugeot 4007 in a few days, Peugeot aims to cover all  vehicle segments of China.

"We learn from the data that SUV and MPV account for half the Chinese market now," said Pascal Meyer, the general manager of Peugeot China," so we are considering to introduce it(Peugeot 4007) into China." Currently, Peugeot's business only focuses on passenger cars. Witnessing the fast development of China's auto market, Peugeot is accelerating its pace.

Peugeot 4007 was first launched in Europe in September last year, and instantly made a hit as it was the first SUV made by the French carmaker. Built on the same assembly line at Mitsubishi's plant in Okazaki, Japan, it has some cues of the latter, but still identified as the unique style of Peugeot from the car's front, i.e. the headlights, hood and grille.
