BYD F8 coupe-cabriolet soon to be launched

BYD AUTO's F3 1.8L priced at 115,800 Yuan has gone on sale on May 1st.

BYD AUTO has almost fulfilled its production line in China. The F8 coupe-cabriolet with a price tag of more than 200,000 yuan, will also go on sale soon; the production version of the F6 is priced above 150,000 yuan, and powertrain options include a self-developed 2.0-liter engine with manual gearbox or a Mitsubishi 2.4-liter MIVEC engine; the new F3-R which just went on sale in China is a new body style of the F3 sedan, whose power comes from a 1.5-liter Mitsubishi engine with Delphi fuel injection and variable valve timing.

BYD AUTO's export topped 5,000 vehicles last year and the company hopes to double the figure this year. Currently BYD sales for single month exceeded the 10,000 units mark, as it sold 10,596 vehicles in April alone. It is predicted that the company can easily achieve its sales goal of 150,000 by the end of this year.
